Insurance

Phone Consultation (15 minutes): Free

Individual Therapy Session (50-55 minutes): $230

Other session lengths and pricing may be determined on a case by case basis.

I am in network with Aetna in Florida. If you wish to use your insurance for your therapy, let me know and I will make sure your therapy is approved before we begin.

I am also in network with United, Optum, and Oscar in Florida but am not able to accept new clients with these insurances at this time. If you have one of these insurance plans, I could see you for private pay but not using out of network benefits.

I am not able to accept insurance from other states that I am licensed in. If you would like to use your insurance, you may be able to use your out of network benefits (see below).

I am an "out of network" therapist for other insurances. This is not a bad thing, as not working with insurance enables me to be more flexible to meet your therapy needs. Your insurance may reimburse you for some of your session fees. Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about out-of-network mental health coverage.

Questions to ask include:

What is the reimbursement rate for an out-of-network (OON) provider?
Do I need a referral from my primary care physician for mental health services to be covered?
How many outpatient mental health sessions are covered per calendar year?
What is my deductible and has it been met?

I will provide you with monthly super-bills that will include all of the necessary information for your claims to be processed.

Payment Policy

Most clients elect to keep a card on file with my HIPPA-compliant practice manager, which is charged the day of your appointment.

Other payment methods may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation Policy

I will reserve your scheduled session time especially for you! Therefore, I ask that you give me 24 business hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged a $100 fee unless it is a rare emergency situation. If you are using your insurance, you will be responsible for the cancellation cost, not just your copay.
